Brandon Bostic

This Milton, FL native, is an award-winning musician and producer known for his work in Bluegrass, Americana, and Country music. He began his career with Valerie Smith’s band, Liberty Pike, before joining Blue Moon Rising, where he co-produced two chart-topping albums. In 2011, he co-founded The Likely Culprits, a supergroup of Nashville session musicians. Bostic has worked with Grammy nominees Jamey Johnson and Sister Sadie, IBMA Award winner Becky Buller, and debuted at the Grand Ole Opry with Patty Loveless. His accolades include the 2018 IBMA Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year and several Independent Music Awards.

Biography

Brandon Bostic, a Milton, FL native, is an acclaimed musician and producer known for his work in Bluegrass, Americana, and Country music. Bostic began his professional journey with GRAMMY winner Valerie Smith’s band, Liberty Pike, when he moved to Nashville, TN, in 2007. His early career saw him join the bluegrass band Blue Moon Rising, where he co-produced and engineered two chart-topping albums.

In 2011, Bostic helped form The Likely Culprits, a Nashville supergroup featuring some of the city’s best session musicians. Their debut album, produced by Buddy Cannon, received critical acclaim. Bostic’s versatility and talent have led him to work with several notable artists, including Grammy nominees Jamey Johnson and Sister Sadie, as well as IBMA Award winner Becky Buller. In 2015, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut with country music legend Patty Loveless as a member of her esteemed band.

Beyond his live performance career, Bostic is active in the studio writing, engineering, producing, and playing. His accolades include the 2018 IBMA Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year for “Speakin’ to that Mountain” with the Becky Buller Band, the 2017 IBMA Momentum Award nomination, and multiple Independent Music Awards for his engineering work with The Bankesters and Blue Moon Rising. Brandon Bostic continues to be a driving force in the Americana and bluegrass music industries, combining his multi-instrumental talents with his skills as a producer and engineer.
